Editorial Policy

1. Sourced claims

Every health-related claim in an article must be traceable to a source listed in that article's Sources section (source name, link and date accessed). Claims that cannot be traced to a source are not published as fact. Statistics are quoted only with their source and attribution, never as exact figures for an individual reader.

2. No diagnosis, dosage or cure advice

Articles give general information only. They do not diagnose any condition, recommend a dosage of anything, promise a cure or outcome, or present a food, habit or routine as treatment for a disease or mental-health condition. Where symptoms or persistent distress are mentioned, the article signposts the reader to a healthcare professional.

3. Expert-review pass

Before publication, each article passes an expert-review pass: a qualified reviewer checks its health claims against its sources. An article is published only after that pass is complete, and the reviewer's name and credentials are shown on the article only once that review has actually happened. No reviewer name or credentials are invented or shown in advance.

4. Original writing, licensed images only

Articles are written originally for this site. Images are hosted locally on this site with a source and licence credit line. Images are never hotlinked from other sites and copyrighted images are never used.

5. Corrections

If an error is found, the article is corrected and the correction is noted on the article with its date. Substantive corrections are not made silently. Until a contact email is published, corrections can be raised via the Contact page (see the note there about the form not yet sending messages).

6. No sponsored health claims

Launch articles carry no supplement recommendations and no affiliate supplement intent. Any future commercial content would be labelled as such.
